As for a potential BE/PAC12 Challenge...it has been suggested and rumored for most of the spring, especially after the announcement of the BE/B1G Challenge earlier this spring. Nice to hear that Bruce Rassmussen says the conference is working on it. However, the big fish in this will be Fox Sports as they hold the broadcast rights for both conferences. This particular "challenge" has a very high probability of happening, as Fox needs additional early season, high profile games to boost its' basketball lineup. The BE/B1G and a possible BE/PAC12 challenge both offer such games to Fox's slate of early season basketball, upping the ante against the wwl lineup.
