Congratulations to us for being 2-0! Hopefully Coach McDermott becomes the winningest head coach in Creighton history tomorrow! Friday the volleyball has a chance to clinch the Big East for the 11th year in a row!

With the season starting up, we here at Bluejay Banter want to figure out what we can do that will best suit your Bluejay fandom needs. We are looking for recommendations on what YOU would like this page to look like throughout the season. What is your favorite part of this community? What are your ideas for how this page could grow? To become more active? We’re super excited for this upcoming season and we know you are too!

I remember that folks were interested in all the "secret" clubs for (MBB, MSOC, and Baseball) well the first one is Hillstoppers for Mens Soccer. It's renewal and recruiting time. Deadline is June 15th.

The membership is $300 for one/$450 for a couple. Meetings this year will again be held at the Matt (13th and Cass) at 6pm and typically don't last more than an hour. The membership gift this year is a Hillstoppers Stadium Blanket & Tote.

*Really* impressed with Neal this game. Active hands on defense, outrunning guys in transition, finding Ryan Kalkbrenner back door a few times

Sept 27th

First official practice is tomorrow but the team went for about 2 1/2 hours today working on defensive ball screen coverages and transition defense. In every drill today communication was an emphasis to try and get all the new faces on the same page. Kaulkbrenner looked really dominant inside today, he was posting hard and finished with ease at the rim. Alex used his athleticism to run the floor in transition and got some easy buckets.

Official practice starts tomorrow with another practice on Wednesday. Next report will be on Wednesday

So an email was sent out with info for the tournament. Just an FYI— if you want to stay at MGM you can get it cheaper by going to other sources. For example Expedia is over $400 cheaper.

I will check with South Point if they are giving free rooms
