As we said Matt Warren has left CU to go to NU. Because of his surgery he could not pitch next year. Also it's the one spot where the Jays have some depth so IMO not a huge loss. Ustin Stroschein may get a look as well as some of the freshman.
Fall workouts started yesterday. Guys that are impressing so far after the summer--
Mike Emodi continues to impress. Look for him to be a .280-90 hitter who hits 6-8 homers.
A guy I've always liked is Bryce Only. He hit .400 for a god part of the summer and has comeback to school looking good
Two freshman who have impressed so far-INF Isaac Collins from Maple Grove Minnesota and Will Robertson of Fatima Mo. Both guys have a chance to start
First day of workouts went really good. Overall hitting is the big improvement over last year
