For those wanting free rooms at Southpoint. No rooms. Hotel is totally sold out Saturday night. In fact told they have a 300 person waiting list for Saturday They do have rooms on Sunday and Monday.
Apparently the rodeo is going on there. Lady I talked to has received a couple of calls from Jays fans about free rooms but she has heard nothing
so best options I saw are Luxor — next door to Mandalay Bay or Excalibur just down from Luxor. Stayed at Excalibur many years ago and it was kinda a dump. But it’s cheap.
Also further down Flamingo is reasonable. I’ve stayed there a ton.
