I was reading the valley's website yesterday. In a two-way tie, the first tie breaker after head to head is non-conference SOS (not non-conf. RPI) according to rpiforecast.com WSU's projected non-conf. SOS is about 100 spots higher than ours. Our projected non-conf. RPI's are close as they have an additional loss. Since there is no chance that Creighton catches WSU in the non-conf. SOS, Creighton has to win the valley outright (or sweep WSU) to secure the #1 seed in STL. Personally, I think non-conf. RPI is a better tie-breaker than non-conf. SOS as RPI takes into account both schedule difficulty and whether or not a team actually wins a game.
