Once again former Jay Ted Wuebben is helping host the skate-a-thon at the UNMC sking rink, an annual event begun by Ted and his wife, Colleen, to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's disease. Colleen finally lost her battle last February. I know this will be a difficult year for Teddy. How about stopping out, skating, or just dropping a few dollars in for the cause? Ted and Colleen met at Creighton and taught so many of us about life, family, love and courage. Let's say thank you Jays! It is a 24 hour event, I believe running all night and ending at noon tomorrow.
