I teach in OPS and posted in past about the ex-Jays vs ex-Husker game at Bell West in April for vets I helped organize.
And speaking of that game, on short notice Ryan Sears drove here from Des Moines (STUD).
And Ryan is again stepping up and asking for nothing as Ryan and Antoine Young are being auctioned off on Proxibid.com for dinner at Upstream Brewery and then a Storm Chaser on Aug. 28 for teen job programs in Omaha. (Also, Ryan didnt ask for gas/travel, which I'm going to get him, and was planning to drive home at 10 PM, but no. I got a hotel room donated. Kid is STILL legit).
We had a press conference yesterday at Omaha North with AY and Crouch, some of you may have seen.
For a flav of what you might get, some of us went to lunch yesterday and Antoine was doing his Coach Altman impersonations. Solid. He was doing Altman coming in locker room after a loss somewhat upset with their effort and talking about Ryan and Ben while shaking his head, "Fellas...Searrrrrs and Walker...thosssseee guys were some tuff ballplayers!"
Yes, soda pop was spit on my La Casa pizza.
Below is OPS's press release. Yes, any Husker fans (or OCC fans) check out the Crouch/Davison golf outing golf at OCC.
I know not many have bid yet but get in now YO! Search Omaha Schools Foundation, or Creighton or Strom Chasers to find us. Also, SummerWorks at UNO, an Omaha teen job program, will receive a large share of funds.
I will figure out a way to contact the radio guys for maybe possibly getting Ryan or AY on this week to talk about their careers and auction? If a good fit for the Banter Boys.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/B]
