Do you guys remember J.J. O'Brien? The funny story goes that J.J. O'Brien and Doug McDermott came to Creighton on the same weekend for their visit. Coach Altman was very focused on Doug but J.J. was added to the weekend because he had a scheduling conflict. That created two problems ...
1) Coach Mac did not like that Coach Altman had another visitor when Doug was seeing Creighton sending him to UNI...
And 2) When Coach Altman had both players over to this house for dinner, he kept calling J.J. "Doug", pissing off his parents and sending J.J. to Utah where he then transferred to San Diego State.
Now, he is here in the NCAA's in Philly and SDSU just beat Oklahoma. SDSU will play Florida Gulf Coast for a chance to go to the Sweet 16.
