Any updates to Isaiah Zierden and his rehab? I have lost my on campus scout and wish the young man all the best going forward. His injury came just as he was establishing himself as a huge contributor to the squad.

He is not on a Summer league roster and last we heard a few weeks ago was still only able to shoot a basketball. No game action yet.

No the plan is now to have Isaiah play this season. Mac said yesterday that he is ahead of schedule but won't start non contact for about another month and team drills not til September. I have also heard that this will be a slow process so I would not expect too much from him over the upcoming months. We will see how he is doing when practice starts in October.

Good thing is we now hav some depth at that positon with Milliken and Brooks.

also - if i understand it correctly - there is no additional red shirt year

if he were to sit out this season with injury - it would be lost - and the only possible resolution would be to petition the NCAA for a 6th year once in a few years.
