What a start to the Big East Tourney. Seton Hall knocking off Nova...Wow! Looks like it's gonna be an intense event for all the teams. Let's hope Creighton stays hot. Would of liked to see Creighton win the tourney and beat Nova to up their seed, but it is what it is. All starts with them taking care of business with DePaul tonight. Go Jays!

Assuming Creighton beats Xavier tonight, would you rather play Seton Hall or Providence? Seton Hall was a close win last time and I could see Providence out for blood after the beat down we gave them in Omaha.

Play the best and at this time it is probably Providence. It keeps our game sharp and we need to re-establish our swagger as to where we were earlier in the season. I would rather earn it, which we are fully capable of rather than back into it. Bring it on. GoJays!

Great team game. Our first eight really complement each other. These guys really know where they should be on the floor at all times. Love it when we run the floor and make the extra pass.
Cheer loud tonight we need to bring that trophy home.

Never mind when we play like we did tonight. Doug 27, the other 4 starters 15. Pathetic support, poor coaching with regard to adjustments and FT opportunities 27 - 10 in favor of the Friers sex it all. If we don't get it together, it will be a short dance.

Rapping the coaching is just plain wrong. The coaches put our guys in position to have good open looks. They had those looks and shots didn't go down. We also hurt ourselves with stupid fouls, mostly out of frustration. That isn't coaching.

When they needed to set the pace Gibbs should not be in. He couldn't keep up with the athletism and was hesitant to shoot. Making adjustments is coaching. Not being prepared to handle a zone is coaching. This team played so much better when Gibbs was on the bench as they stepped up the defensive intensity, driving an up tempo O.

Bad night shooting from the 3 point perspective. Also more of those stupid turnovers showed up. I love all the 3's when they're going down, but we need more presence with the inside game regardless. Let Dougie take over and move out of his way IMO. Props to the Friars. Played good and did what they needed to do to win that game. Good luck to them and all the Big East Teams who make the NCAA tourney!
