So, my daughter went to her old high school to watch a dance camp last night. They auction off "baskets" of goodies to help pay for the camp. In the past, there have been Creighton packages that go for well over $250. Last night there was a Nebraska basketball package that included 2 front row season tickets, a Nebraska backpack, a bullhorn, and some other Nebraska memorabilia crap. The bidding starts for all baskets at $50. One eager beaver shot his hand up at the start...and that was it. One bid for $50 is all the crowd thought of Nebraska basketball. She said the auctioneer pimped that pig for an eternity and all she heard were crickets.
